This is the view of the pond, a cooling place in summer and a place to drag
their weekly meal in the winter time. During the summer, the wolves are more
likely to be swimming in the pond early in the morning or later in the evening,
escaping the heat of summer. The back view of the camera encompasses the hillside
which will be the location of their second den site, scheduled for construction
in the fall of 2008.
